I am instinctively drawn to individuals who exude a captivating charm. This attraction is not limited to their physical features; it also encompasses the aura they project. Such encounters serve as a medium through which I weave together scenes, memories, and specific gestures, creating a tapestry of emotions and experiences.

Through this process, I aim to capture the "faces" that reside within each person, reflecting their complexity and depth. Particularly influenced by what I saw in my childhood, some individuals take shape in my mind as characters from manga and anime.

My portraits are executed in oil paint, prioritizing a smooth surface with minimal brush strokes. This technique is intentional; it emphasizes the essence of "someone who is not anyone," or "someone before becoming someone." By minimizing the physical traces of the artist's hand, I invite viewers to engage with the work on a more intimate level, encouraging them to explore their own interpretations and connections to the subjects portrayed.

Ultimately, my work seeks to transcend individual identities, creating a dialogue that resonates universally.
Each portrait is not just a representation of a person; it is an invitation to consider how we relate to one another.
